Hi, I’m Raphaël!

I am a visual, motion, and sound designer from the Boston area. I’m interested in bringing sound into UX prototyping.

Currently, I’m at Punchcut in San Francisco helping design the interfaces of the future.

You can reach me at raphael@weikart.com. Here is my resume.

While studying Communication Design at Carnegie Mellon, I developed a passion for motion and video. I also enjoyed the school’s emphasis on systems thinking (and process), which led me to intern at Doblin, a Deloitte company, in New York.

After graduating with a Bachelor’s of Design and a minor in Sound Design, I returned to Boston to explore the intersection between design and art. In order to gain full control of my video work, I began to create original sound. I completed a Post-Baccalaureate certificate at the SMFA at Tufts.

In my spare time, I like creating sounds, watching foreign films, practicing my other native tongue, and thinking about vintage Swatches.
